This project addresses the humanitarian crisis in the Mediterranean by shifting the focus from institutional complexity to the "sensitive urgency" of the bodies that intervene to save lives. Inspired by acts of resistance like that of Carola Rackete and informed by the philosophy of Rancière and Didi-Huberman, the work draws from an emotional archive of sea rescues and firsthand testimonies. Through a transdisciplinary staging that weaves together text, projected imagery, soundscapes, and movement, the piece creates a space where the intimate meets the collective, aiming to awaken our shared sensibility toward the fundamental act of preserving human life.
